Just pre-ordered this bad boy for myself. I’m not really a figure person for various reasons but I always admire the stuff that Hot Toys puts out. Plus, as Neka has been putting it, I have “an annoying obsession” with Tony Stark.
There are a lot of Iron Man figures but very few Tony Stark figures. The ones that do show his face/body are usually either off-model or start at $500 (sobsob). I don’t like figures that come with a lot of pieces since I have cats and am therefor not allowed nice things. I also don’t like any of the suits from Iron Man 2. So when I found out they were releasing a new Mark 1 figure I was like FUCK YES because Mark 1 is my favorite suit (see also: doing it wrong?) but the first figure is old and ugly. This one however doesn’t have a million pieces, you can see Tony’s face and it’s a great sculpt, and I can actually afford it ahaha. Responsible adult, I am not. X)
